Elder Deidra Laurent McNulty is a native of Slidell, Louisiana she is the youngest of six siblings and the sister to the late Pastor Terry A. Laurent, Founder of Faith Walk Christian Ministry of Slidell, LA.  She is the loving and faithful wife to Pastor Bennie McNulty whom she serves alongside as the Pastor & Co-Pastor of Faith Walk Christian Ministry.

 

Co-Pastor began her Christian journey in June 1997, at Greater Northshore Full Gospel Baptist Church in Slidell, LA. under the Leadership of Elder Robert  J. Taylor, Senior Pastor, where she served for 3 and half years.   There she accepted Jesus as her Lord and personal Savior. and where she was baptized in the name of her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.   In 2000 she accepted her calling into ministry and the Lord moved her and her husband to Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church, New Orleans, LA. under the Leadership of Bishop Paul S. Morton and Co-Pastor Debra B. Morton, where she served for 17 and a half years.   In August of 2000, she entered into the Ministerial Alliance 3 year Preparatory Program & School of Ministry. In August 2003 she received her License as a Minister of the Gospel by her Pastor, Bishop Paul S. Morton & Co-Pastor Debra B. Morton.  In December 2011, she was Ordained as an Elder of the church by Pastor Debra B. Morton & Co-Pastor/Overseer Bishop Paul S. Morton. She graduated in 2003 in the first graduating class in the Paul S. Morton Bible College with honors.   

 

While at Greater St. Stephen she served in several ministries, which included New Members Ministry, Disciple Training Union, Women of Excellence, Marriage & Family Ministry, Helps Ministry, Intercessory Prayer Ministry, Evangelism Ministry, Lead & Empowerment Ministry and many other areas of ministry.   She was an Instructor in the School of Ministry & DB Morton Bible Institute.   She served as the Directors of the Ministries, along with her husband for Greater St. Stephen Ministries for 5 and a half years and as Director of Special Guest Services until December 2017.    In July 2015, she was a part of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International graduating class of the College Of Ordained Elders. On October 1st, 2017 the Lord moved her and her husband to Faith Walk Christian Ministry of Slidell, LA. to serve under her brother, the late Pastor & Founder, Pastor Terry Laurent and Former 1st Lady Elder Yolanda Laurent of Faith Walk Christian Ministry. In August 2018,  she and her husband Bennie became the District Administrators for Full Gospel Louisiana Southern Berith District. 

 

On March 15th, 2020 she and her husband were appointed to the Office of Pastoral ship as the newly appointed Pastor & Co-Pastor of Faith Walk Christian Ministry in Slidell, LA. under the Full Gospel Fellowship International and the Louisiana Southern Berith District. 

 

Co-Pastor's first love is the Lord Jesus Christ, then her husband, her family, & the people of God.  She is humble and honored to be chosen by God to lead His people in this Next Chapter alongside her husband and Pastor, Pastor Bennie McNulty.  She continue to stand on these two passage of scriptures.  Matthew 22:14, "For many are called, but few are chosen" and Joshua !:5 " There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses", so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee"  Her desire is to please the Lord, and to lead God's people in a more excellent way, as she take the Gospel of Jesus Christ into all nations by the leading of God's Holy Spirit.
